History

One summer eve, my pals and I wrote columns of fives, sevens, and fives on paper towels whilst making dinner (a dinner from local produce no less). We then proceeded to mix and match the lines to see what wonderful creations resulted.

A friend posted the product to the kitchen wall, scratched with the title “Haiku Diaries.” From that point onward, we started scribbling haikus on napkins for bartenders or on receipts for our servers at brunch (which we still do).

Haiku Confessions is an extension of our everyday haiku sprinkling and a way for friends and strangers…far and near…to connect over concise, passionate, and silly words.

Words that are packed with infinite meaning.
